Peek into my past
I was born and raised on the beautiful
Island of Bermuda. In my teenage years I moved to Georgia and attended
middle school for one year. Then I moved to North Carolina to
complete high school. After that I relocated to Alabama and graduated from college
with a degree in Elementary Education. I have been teaching in Florida for the last
seven years! Recently I moved to Georgia with my family. I have an amazing
husband and two outstanding children.
Why Teach?
It was my childhood dream to grow up and become a teacher. I wanted to find students learning styles
and implant the desire to learn. Teaching them that they have the power to
become whatever they want to be if didn't give up. I had people in my life who
believed in me, and I want to be that person in my student’s life to encourage
them. Despite all odds within each student, is a person who can... save a life,
build and design buildings, become a translator, teach leaders for tomorrow, or
even lead a nation.
It is my responsibility to stretch each little mind and
build a solid foundation in first grade for the years to come.
